Whoops. Guess it's not a secret now. The Queen of the Medellin music scene is trying her hardest to hide an industry only show she is having at the Museum of Modern Art in Cuidad del Rio on Wednesday night, April 30th. I was lucky enough for my dog to get behind the scenes of the elaborate stage they are constructing for the pop star. having a cute curious catdog has it's benefits.

Since I live in Cuidad del Rio, my life will be turned completely upside down as she puts on a VIP show to promote and film for her upcoming Netflix series "Mañana Fue Muy Bonito", which was probably a true statement, but we were told that we are not allowed to leave our apartments and go near the concerts as there will be armed guards present to keep us from getting a free peep of the VIP show. The airspace will be closed off from 1PM until 3AM to accommodate Netflix drones, and all restaurants in the area will be closing at 6PM.

The concert starts at 7, and if you have no ticket, the security will be removing you from the area, and possibly arresting for trespassing. I thought she loved all her fans, I guess when Netflix foots the bill, all bets are off. 🤷🏼‍♂️

They're trying so hard to keep this a secret, but I'm here to piss in their Cheerios. If you want to come and listen to the music, but not get close to the stage, Calle 24 and Carerra 43G will not be closed and you can see the lights. Also if you know of someone who lives in the La Riviere complex and faces Parque Lineal Del Rio, FREE CONCERT.

Maybe it's just me being a salty boomer, but they should be doing it at the empty lot next to the Distrito Vera buildings. When they had burgerfest here, there were 13k people that came on Saturday night and it was gridlock.

So If you like Karol G, and want to hear her concert for free line up early. They will be closing down the streets all within Cuidad del Rio, so you probably won't be able to get too close, but if you're a fan, you can come listen. Also it has been rainy at night, so be prepared for that.
